Vincent David Humphrey II

Vincent Humphrey was incredible throughout my divorce. He helped me draft a parenting plan and guided me through a very stressful process with patience, clear communication, and strong legal knowledge. He is very honest, empathetic, and truly listens to his clients. He gets great results, and his tea...m is always responsive and supportive. I highly recommend him for anyone needing skilled and trustworthy family law representation.

I was worried about my children's well-being in a 50/50 situation with my ex after she had a sad mental health episode which pushed her to be unfaithful as well as flipped her personality. Every other lawyer I talked to said not to go for it. Vincent was the first to see that I was genuine and concer...ned for the well-being of my kids. I started the petition and went after majority custody. Vincent was down to earth and explain tactics and the laws in a way that was so easy to understand that it made me feel like I could be a lawyer(not really haha). I consulted with him multiple times and I was able to finalize my divorce where the kids are with their mother every other weekend and I have 100% decision making. As my ex gets the help she needs, I hope we can eventually switch to a 50/50 arrangement. My kids are happier and are being provided for by me because of the guidance of Vincent. I would highly recommend him to anyone who feels wronged and has an honest heart. I never got to meet Vincent in person, but I plan to visit him just to shake his hand in the upcoming months.

I hired this firm based upon their reviews. Upon further investigation, all the 5 star reviews Have a very similar writing voice. Perhaps writing themselves reviews is what they do all day, because it certainly isn't helping their clients. The first thing Mr. Humphrey did was pawn my case off on h...is associate, Chloe Lancaster. That would be fine if she had done her job. She did not. Through the entire process both lawyers demonstrated disinterest in my case. The entire strategy seemed to be simply offering the other side more money until a settlement was reached. My case did have to go to court. By the end I had over 40 unanswered emails that I sent between Ms Lancaster and Mr Humphrey. In court, it became apparent that they did not remember the specifics of my case or the nature of my employment. This resulted in me losing my house despite a prenuptial agreement that was in place. I had to pay the other side's fees despite the fact that I sent them evidence that I had already provided the opposing side with thousands of dollars (at their direction) which they did not pass along to the court or seem aware of on the court date. This was in an unanswered email. I also had support judgements rendered based upon unemployment that I was not collecting. After hiring a new lawyer to revise the judgements, it became apparent to me that they did not know what the law was regarding division of military disability for support in WA. They also earned me no credits for the time I did spend with my children in my custody or medical insurance I was paying for,, because they did not enter them into my support worksheet. This cost me over 900 dollars a month in erroneously awarded support until I had to hire a real lawyer to fix it. When I did actually talk to this firm, Ms.Lancaster said, "do not worry about temporary orders because they are temporary". My temporary orders cost me over 5500 dollars a month at a time when I was losing my income. I don't know how I'm not supposed to worry about that, but it left me in a position where we had to settle. This firm seemed happy to get rid of me, once they billed me for all the hours they obviously did not spend working on my case. Please do not hire them.

I contacted Mr. Humphrey after having previously failed miserably at a "DIY-no-attorney-divorce." I had consulted with several other reputable family law attorneys in King County for assistance with what ultimately became a parenting plan modification before finding Vincent. I hadn't felt well treate...d by the other attorneys I had contacted because, in their words, I was not in a high income bracket. Vincent and his team were a stark contrast. He and his staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Because of the nature of my work, I had limited access to phone service and internet during many regular business hours while my case was pending. Vincent, Joe, and Lindsey took that in stride and showed admirable flexibility to ensure we met deadlines. Vincent was knowledgeable and competent. He was an empowering ally through the legal process, who first actively listened to understand my circumstances and desired outcomes, and then candidly presented me with multiple courses of action. His knowledge of and confidence within the legal process - one with huge consequences to me, his client - was empowering and reassuring. He scaled his services to allow me to do as much of the paperwork as I felt I could, and then thoroughly reviewed it and helped get things (and me) where they needed to go. He litigated in the courtroom articulately and effectively on my behalf. Overall, he worked concisely to understand my needs and to then formulate a plan that had the best success of meeting them. He did not offer unnecessary services and referred me to other more effective resources when indicated, which I believe is indicative of his integrity and his desire to serve, rather than make money off of people. When you meet this guy and see his smile, it says it all: knowledgeable, personable, intelligent, candid, integral, and competent. I highly recommend his services.

Vincent Humphrey & his associate, Lindsey Winjum were EXCELLENT! I'm so happy with my time spent with them. Vincent gives Free consultations which is so nice. He really truly cares and listens to you when you speak with him and gives you step by step advice on the best way to move forward in your cas...e that is most efficient, but with as minimum cost out of pocket as possible!! For me it felt like he really has a passion for his job and wanted to help me succeed in my case without having me go into legal fee debt! Which let's be honest, is hardly ever the scenario when speaking with most lawyers, but Vincent is different! He's a good one guys!!! I had a one hours meeting with him when i hit a little hiccup in my child custody case and in that time he answered all my questions, helped me understand paperwork and all that court slang stuff, and had his associate email me the correct forms i needed to file to take the next step and explained the process to me and really made me feel confident and in charge with my case. For once i don't feel overwhelmed and tired, Vincent took all that weight off my shoulders and saved the day!!!! CALL HIM NOW!!!!!! You wont regret it! :) Thank you guys again, so much!
