Commission on Judicial Conduct is free!!

DO NOT hire Deborah Bianco. DO NOT allow your case to go before Deborah Bianco if she is the commissioner for any hearing. I have filed a complaint with the state of Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct in Olympia. I would encourage other people to do the same. I filed my compliant after rea...ding countless other reviews, like Michael's, outlining similar misconduct. Deborah Bianco does not read paperwork, she makes snaps decisions without all the details, responds to and encourages attorney antics, makes the most offensive comments in the courtroom, and most of all she does not read declarations from all the parties involved. I first hand witnessed this when she was the commissioner on my case. It was brought to her attention my last declaration was not in her file. My attorney provided her with a receipt from the court clerk indicating our paper work was delivered on time and prior to our hearing. She took one look at the five page document, lasting only seconds, went back to her stack of paperwork, ask minor questions, allowed a closing argument then made the most uninformed ruling I have witnessed. After leaving the courtroom my attorney and I both took one look at each other and said "Oh my God she did not even read our paperwork"! Bianco’s closing statements also seemed odd because it contradicted the paperwork she did have in front of her. Her statements were incorrect and simply insulting to both parties. I felt some sense of comfort knowing she was not interested in what either of us had to say. Thank God hearings are taped. Deborah Bianco clearly states for the court that she did not receive all the copies of each party’s declarations. Deborah Bianco clearly states she intends to read my missing statement. Both attorneys agree to allow her to read the paperwork and continue our hearing. What you will not hear is Debora excusing herself to go and read the paperwork. You will struggle to hear even the slightest pause. How can anyone in good faith not read such an important document before making such important decisions? This is your job when you sit on the bench and or represent clients. I did file an appeal and I won. Shortly after I began reading numerous complaints about Deborah Bianco I discovered many were her own clients. After my trial I filed my complaint.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I first met Debbie as opposing counsel on a case in summer 2008. However, subsequent to that, I have also appeared before her when she acted as a commissioner pro tem on the King County Family Law Calendar, and most recently, we came together on a case where I acted as a mediator and she represented one of the parties. Debbie's years of experience, her solid grasp of the law, and her wisdom to know when to push and when to relent are without parallel. I endorse her without any reservation."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I highly recommend Deb for individual representation or for arbitration/mediation services. She is a pleasure to work with and was successful in mediating some very contentious cases of mine. She "gives it to you straight" and is very knowledgeable. If I have a conflict and cannot represent someone, I refer them to Deb."
