James A. (Jim) Swigart is the founder of the firm, and has been licensed to practice law in the States of Oregon, Washington and Virginia. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law, Williamsburg, Virginia. He is also a graduate of the Ohio State University, College of Business. In addition to being a licensed attorney, he is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. His prior work experience includes three years with Arthur Andersen & Co., an international public accounting firm, and ten years with Weyerhaeuser Company, an international forest products company. He is a current or past member of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, the Auburn Rotary Club, the White River Presbyterian Church, sits on the Board of Directors for the Auburn Symphony Orchestra, and has been active in community affairs.
