I was arrest for felony driving on suspension. When I had my appointment to meet with her she read me the police report and it had said my car was brown. My car is white. The reason the officer pulled me over is because he said I did not turn my turn signal on which I did. The first thing that office...r had said to me when he came up to my window is" you turn sign is broke or burned out or not working. I ask if I could get out to look at it.because I know I turned it on because I saw the officer and knew he was behind me. In a panic the officer said "No you stay right there". He got my info. Came back from his car and placed me under arrest. When I got out of jail I went to my car to see if my turn signal was burned out. It was not. After I told Leslie my car was not brown it was white if the officer can even tell between my car being white and not brown. How can he tell if my signal was not working. I told Leslie I believe my civil rights were violated because the cop ran my plate and made up a reason to pull me over. I told Leslie this and I wanted to go to trial. She told me they will just believe the office. So basically she is telling me I will not get a fare trial. She is a horrible attorney and will not look out for the best interest of her clients. Any other attorney would have seen this to be a big deal in this case my car is completely white not brown. The officer did violate my civil rights for making up a reason to pull me over. My girlfriend is constantly getting pulled over for stupid stuff because the plates are under my name. She does not do her job at all. She just want to get he $50 to $60 per case and get them closed instead of doing her job.
