I had a difficult case and was asking the court for a lot. I was trying to relocate out of the state with my children, fight for sole custody, change parenting time, and receive child support after my divorce was already finalized. I figured it was my one shot to go big for my children’s sake, and Go...rdon was the perfect attorney for the job. We both put a lot of hard work into preparing for my case, and it was completely worth it. We won! I got to relocate with my kids out of state, I won sole custody, I get to have more parenting time with my kids, and I am now receiving child support. I would not have been able to do this without Gordon's help and expertise. Going to court to fight for what my kids deserve was one of the hardest things I have had to do, and Gordon made it simpler, was incredibly transparent and honest throughout the whole thing, set realistic expectations, and was very easy to work with. He is also pretty funny and is good about breaking the tension when things get hard. My experience with the legal system during my divorce was difficult, but I am so glad that I was referred to Gordon Phillips because I found in him a very effective combination of clear legal thought, determination and the ability to make a court follow his line of reasoning. These were invaluable to... me as my ex-husband had seized all the assets of our trust and abandoned me and our three children. Even though the courts initially seemed prejudiced to listening to my ex-husband's unsupported claims, Gordon was able to persuade the court of their previous error, reinstate child and spousal support and ultimately win the case and recover enough of our assets to provide for my kids and me. To say that I could not have done it without him is an understatement. Throughout the whole ordeal Gordon was a pillar of wisdom, clarity and encouragement combined with a very good legal strategist and representative before the courts. He was always professional and firm in his approach and he did an excellent job of preparing me for our three day trial.
