Biography
Gordon attended Eastern Washington University and the University of Washington where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Gordon received his Juris Doctor from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in 2000 and became a member of the Oregon State Bar the same year.
Prior to law school Gordon worked for Sigma Nu International Fraternity traveling throughout the United States as an Educational Field Consultant. During law school Gordon clerked for the the Multnomah County Counsel's office in the litigation division where he was active with motion and pleading practice in the federal courts. Gordon also worked for the United States Army and volunteered with Multnomah County Legal Aid.
Gordon practices primarily in Central and Eastern Oregon. His office is Bend, Oregon where he has lived since January 2001. Gordon is a current member of the Oregon State Bar, the Deschutes County Bar, a member of the Central Oregon Matrimonial Attorneys, and a Fellow in The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Gordon is the past president and past member of the board of directors for the Central Oregon Council on Aging a Central Oregon nonprofit that specializes in services to seniors such as Meals-on-Wheels. Gordon is also a past member of the board of directors for the Humane Society of Central Oregon. Since moving to Bend Gordon has become an avid fly fisherman and enjoys mountain biking. He also enjoys camping, brewing his own beer, and playing soccer.
