Born and raised in Klamath Falls, Mika graduated from Henley High School, and received her AA from Oregon Institute of Technology before transfering to Rutgers University in New Jersey. After receiving her B.A. from Rutgers, Mika attended Seattle University School of Law and earned her J.D. Prior to moving back to Klamath Falls, Mika practied law in the Seattle, Washington area.
