Ray Churba- Custody and Parenting Time Dispute

When I first applied to get an attorney for a child custody case I was turned down, understandably. There are so many families in need that it must be difficult to decide on who to help. At that time my children were struggling, but fairly stable. I applied out of concern for what may happen with the...ir psyche down the road. After being denied I made sure to document as much as I could. I saved text messages between their father and I, I took detailed notes regarding different situations that I noticed the children struggling with, as well as behaviors they displayed, things they confided me in, and anything else that could show need and cause for a change in custody and parenting time. December of 2017 my daughter was exhibiting sign of suicidal ideation after months of depression and anxiety, and a serious decline in school. She was 10 years old at that time. At that point I reapplied, and was frank about her situation and what led her to the desperate state she was in. I wrote quite a bit extra on the back of the application, being as thorough as I could. Less than a week later I received an acceptance letter in the mail with Ray Churba as the attorney appointed to review the case. I immediately contacted Ray's office and set an appointment for the next week. Ray was exceptionally professional and immediately started building a case to change custody and parenting time from 50-50 and Week on Week off, to something that would suit the needs of the children at this time better. Ray handled all of the details of paperwork and setting court hearings, which took a lot of stress off of me so I could focus on the childrens needs. He handled all of the court communications with the childrens father and was great at redirecting the focus on the task on hand. In court he was direct, professional, and did a great job at representing the children their needs, and why a change in custody was best for them. I recommend Ray Churba as a custody despute attorney. He helped our family immensely, and was available and quick to respond to questions and concerns, even if he didn't quite have an answer at the time. I am so grateful to have had an opportunity to work with him, and should the need arise, I would seek out his help again.

Ray Churba is awesome!

It is a very trying time for anyone dealing with a custody case or modification. I've been through the process four times two of which were with Ray. Whenever a question came up, he is prompt geting back to your e mail. Also right there with you in court. He is as good or better than any custody lawy...er at any price.

Incredible attorney

Ray helped me with a custody case for my two boys. Our case involved cps and a fight with a really disfunctional family. I feel incredibly blessed to have had my case land in Ray’s office. He always kept me in the loop, was straight to the point but also kind and considerate. With our case being bum...ped multiple times for one reason or another, Ray did his job well ensuring that we had the upper hand the whole time. With a courtroom of witnesses for the defendant party, we did not need a single person on our side to come out with that win. The way he presented himself and our case in the courtroom made me feel like I had the best attorney in town. I don’t really believe in luck but some how feel like I got lucky.

Amazing! On point!

Ray is amazing! Meet/hired him back in 2013 while I was going through a divorce. He went above and beyond to make sure all my questions and concerns had been answered. He is top notch! Hired him again in 2017 and he had everything completed within 30 days! He is amazing at what he does! I ...recommend/ refer friends and family to him all the time.

Great Attorney

Ray Churba is the best lawyer I've ever worked with. It's hard to find someone so compassionate and helpful with legal matters. He stayed in contact throughout the entire process, and was extremely thorough. I would highly recommend Mr. Churba to anyone in need of legal services.
