Consulting with Ray for my divorce/custody case was the best thing I could have done!

Consulting with Ray for my divorce/custody case was the best thing I could have done! I decided to represent myself (before I knew Ray) but honestly had no idea where to begin. My court date was fast approaching by the time I found Ray which didn’t give him enough time to represent me but that didn’t... stop him from going above and beyond to help make sure I was ready. I was never made to feel stupid. He was very kind and patient while he explained and helped me go through everything. By the time my court date came I felt very confident to be able to hold my own. I would have not felt that way without his help. It made all the difference! He even called after after court to see how everything went and made sure all the paperwork was filed correctly. He went above the mark and I’m beyond grateful! Thanks again Ray!

A Trusted and Skilled Professional

I worked with Ray Churba for a year on a very complex case and he exceeded my expectations at every turn of the road. He was thorough in helping me examine both the tedious details of the case as well as the heart of the matter. A father himself, it was evident that he brought strong values into my c...ase and soon became a trusted ally in the situation at hand. Raymond always took the time to answer my questions, provide professional counsel to my decisions and expedited my process to be efficient and effective. Raymond not only knew family thoroughly, but he also was familiar with the judge, the opposing lawyer and the local professionals. Because of this, he was able to not only look at the legal aspect of things, but also the interpersonal dynamics which was a huge advantage in maneuvering questionable issues. He was honest, to the point, and strong in guiding me through matters in which I had no experience or information. Although his preparations were valuable to me, his greatest competency was in the courtroom hearing. He was composed, confident and clear spoken even in tense moments. Because he knew my case so thoroughly, he knew exactly how to confront my opponents with precision and power. He did not buckle under contention and instead helped to skillfully negotiate in the heat of the moment. He was focused and strong without being arrogant or aggressive, and I appreciated the integrity of having a 'clean fight' very much. He helped me to win a difficult case and come out with more than I was hoping to gain. I believe it was his aptitude and his genuine heart that provided me with such a great outcome and I am truly, forever grateful for his help. My daughter is safe and protected under his care and our lives can continue now with some semblance of normalcy after a tumultuous year; my family is deeply grateful. If you're looking for a lawyer you can really trust, who knows family law, who has a big heart as well as a strong voice, go find Raymond. I proudly recommend him to anyone in need.

Ray Churba- Custody and Parenting Time Dispute

When I first applied to get an attorney for a child custody case I was turned down, understandably. There are so many families in need that it must be difficult to decide on who to help. At that time my children were struggling, but fairly stable. I applied out of concern for what may happen with the...ir psyche down the road. After being denied I made sure to document as much as I could. I saved text messages between their father and I, I took detailed notes regarding different situations that I noticed the children struggling with, as well as behaviors they displayed, things they confided me in, and anything else that could show need and cause for a change in custody and parenting time. December of 2017 my daughter was exhibiting sign of suicidal ideation after months of depression and anxiety, and a serious decline in school. She was 10 years old at that time. At that point I reapplied, and was frank about her situation and what led her to the desperate state she was in. I wrote quite a bit extra on the back of the application, being as thorough as I could. Less than a week later I received an acceptance letter in the mail with Ray Churba as the attorney appointed to review the case. I immediately contacted Ray's office and set an appointment for the next week. Ray was exceptionally professional and immediately started building a case to change custody and parenting time from 50-50 and Week on Week off, to something that would suit the needs of the children at this time better. Ray handled all of the details of paperwork and setting court hearings, which took a lot of stress off of me so I could focus on the childrens needs. He handled all of the court communications with the childrens father and was great at redirecting the focus on the task on hand. In court he was direct, professional, and did a great job at representing the children their needs, and why a change in custody was best for them. I recommend Ray Churba as a custody despute attorney. He helped our family immensely, and was available and quick to respond to questions and concerns, even if he didn't quite have an answer at the time. I am so grateful to have had an opportunity to work with him, and should the need arise, I would seek out his help again.
