Awesome Lawyer!!

He was a fantastic Lawyer! I initially sought the help from this non profit after hiring a paid attorney who I felt failed to win my case. I ended up going to court on a interstate custody dispute of my 2 year old daughter prior to hiring Mr. Churba and lost horribly. But while in that court proceedi...ng that day, I watched Mr. Churba handle other cases and his courtroom demeanor and really wanted to hire that attorney. However, I am not financially capable of retaining another attorney, so I sought legal services help. Little did I know Mr. Churba was the attorney I had earlier wanted to hire that had now agreed to take on my case probono. Upon meeting Mr. Churba, I was very impressed with how he didn't play into problems to try to get me to retain him, he didnt attempt to make my custody dispute some big court room ordeal. He took great time asking me about my situation, getting the details (without interrogating me) and really just kept it simple and undramatized. He helped me to help him prepare my case by giving advice on who we could call as a witness if needed, what to expect from my judge, and giving suggestions on appropriate interstate parenting plan for my two year old. Mr. Churba was able to reach out to the other attorney and come to an agreement. Get this, I paid an attorney for over a year high prices and never got an outcome-just delayed trials, messy temporary parenting plans, money flying out the window, and my ex and I just being spitful because of the constant disagreements about what an appropriate partning plan would be for us.... I have been working with Raymond Churba for about 3 weeks, and in those 3 weeks he has brought an agreement forward between my ex and myself, the spitefulness has ceased for the most part as my ex and I are in agreement about what in the plan, and this whole time Mr. Churba has made me feel as if I was a high paying client. I have consulted probably 8-10 attorneys on my matter and was never satisfied with what they had to say and felt quite frequently that they were not going to fight for my "tiny problem" custody dispute. I hired an attorney and lost a few thousand dollars without ever getting an out come....but inside of 3 weeks with Mr. Churba, he has got me an outcome. I am very impressed. I would 100% recommend this guy. Very straight forward. No BS. No tactics to keep you intertwined in the legal system (he isn't benefiting financially from my case), he has a great courtroom demeanor, and doesn't just accept whatever is offered to him. He fights fair, and is willing get you a fair outcome.

Ray is the man!

Ray helped me through undoubtedly the hardest time in my entire life. When reading the following review, keep in mind that he works for a nonprofit organization and did not benefit monetarily from winning this case: My ex and I had beautiful boy, but the relationship soon turned sour and we eventua...lly parted ways. Co-parenting was fairly amicable for a time, until she decided to marry a felon that could not see his own child due to a restraining order. It was at this point that my ex made a series of bad decisions that concluded in child services removing our boy from her presence for around 2 months. Upon reinstatement of her parenting privileges, she immediately took our boy out of daycare without my permission, filed for custody, and the felon husband refused to allow contact to either my boy or my ex. After being served with the custody papers, which had been maliciously worded with untruths that did not portray the reality of the situation, my sense of right and wrong was sent for a loop: how could someone use the legal system in such a vile and twisted way? This internal dialogue invoked a period of cognitive dissonance that tore at my moral fiber, causing me to question the point of being tactful and ethical in the face of such circumstance. Infuriated, I went in search of some sort of legal help and soon found that a traditional lawyer was utterly unaffordable. As a last ditch resort, I contacted legal services in Medford and Ray was assigned to help me. I stopped at the mall before driving home that day and while shopping for shoes, happened to find myself in conversation with the manager who had experienced a similar custody battle. Lo and behold, he had been assigned to Ray and won custody of his two boys (TRUE STORY). I came away from this feeling that my case was not so hopeless. Ray constantly kept me in the loop and explained the process by which we would proceed. In our first appearance in court, he overturned the lies written into my ex’s request for custody and the judge ordered 50/50 parenting time until the final custody hearing. The whole phenomenon was very unnerving for me, but Ray was clearly very experienced and helped me understand everything from his perspective. A few months later, he was directly responsible for me winning custody due to his professional courtroom demeanor and a presentation of the facts that was grounded in tangible moral values instead of legal technicalities. Even after winning custody, the opposing party consistently dragged their bureaucratic feet and this caused a delay in the process. Ray did not miss a beat and worked to circumvent this stall tactic until the order was signed, showing great tenacity in the face of bureaucracy. My boy and I are much happier now; our quality of life has increased exponentially thanks in large part to Ray Churba. I hope this review sheds some light on his efficacy as a lawman and overall excellence as a human being in general.

Total loss of my children

All I can say, is that you get what you pay for- He makes you believe that he will win your case, Thought we had it in the bag but now I'm sitting at home with no children.
