After serving Jackson County as a Deputy District Attorney for several years, I decided it was time to step out and start my own practice.  My focus is primarily on criminal defense in state courts, but I will also represent clients in domestic relations matters such as divorce, child custody, and child / spousal support modification. 

I have handled a wide range of criminal cases from misdemeanor assaults, thefts, and DUII, all the way up to serious felonies such as Delivery of Methamphetamine and Assault in the Second Degree. 

If you're faced with a legal problem, whether on the criminal or civil side, you need to know and understand your options.  Only then can you make an informed decision.  It may be in your best interests to take a case to trial; it may be in your best interests to negotiate some resolution.  Of course, the ultimate decision rests with you; my job is to answer your questions so that, whatever course you choose to take, you are comfortable with your decision.
