I created a trust years ago when I inherited assets from my father. Simple. 50/50 to each of my children. Then one adult daughter became disabled and it was suggested that I set up a special trust for her. The other daughter was now married with two kids. Scott walked me through lots of options ...and raised issues I hadn't considered before. Creating a trust is more than just divvying up assets. It takes thought and consideration. He was patient and thorough. I feel I now have a trust that protects the assets, is tailored to the needs of my children, and that represents my desires for use of the assets.
