Ms. Barrett really knows her business. She was always well-prepared for court, and, unlike other lawyers I have dealt with, she didn't ignore me until the last possible minute. She was very generous with her time (didn't charge me for approximately 35% of it) and very helpful and courteous. She was a...lways professional and kind.

Our family has been using Ms. Barrett for several years. She has always been professional, courteous, and helpful. Our case went to court and believe me, Jennifer is not timid when questioning witnesses on the stand. She won our case for us and there were several hours of work for which she didn't... even bill us. She is well-educated (Ivy league), knowledgeable and hardworking. Yes, there were times when she was held over in court and had to reschedule an appointment or was a few minutes late. This is to be expected since a lawyer can't control the proceedings in court..

I have paid this woman for a civil matter and short of showing up at her front door and demanding to see her she is completely unavailable. She claims she has called or that she has sent emails and yet I have neither. I made an appointment with her to review my case and she was over 20 minutes late.... I was the first case of her day. I didn't get so much as a phone call. she showed up downstairs as I was leaving and told me she could "squeeze me in real quick" I told her not to bother and walked out. Legal shield suggested her to me and I have filed a report with them as well. As far as court appearances go she can best be described as "Timid and professional" It is my belief she should stick to contract law because when she is faced with a more aggressive lawyer she just nods and moves on. Do not give this woman money and do not trust your future to her.
