A bulldog in child custody cases! He represents me as a defendant in a custody case involving my 4 month old son and I am beyond thankful for him. Whether you are in the courtroom facing opposing counsel or having a meeting with him to discuss your case, Mr. Perrin is the definition of direct, honest..., straightforward and blunt and one that opposing counsel would have a hard time defending against. He comes with a price but worth every penny if you can afford him. His knowledge on Oregon law is beyond extensive, his presence in the courtroom is beyond impressive, and when there are other legal figures who have hired him for their own legal matters that speaks volume. When it comes to work, he is not only tunnel vision and works in a timely manner, but he is also genuine when it comes to just asking how I was doing outside of the mess I am going through. I could write plenty on my recommendation, but you should see for yourself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a custody attorney!

I used Mr. Perrin for my custody dispute in 2018. At first I believed that the professional fees for sending the same messages to his client via email and postal service were just the course of doing business. The hourly charge for both forms of correspondence didn’t bother me as long as the end resu...lt of half physical custody was achieved. The process was very expensive and at the end of the day he missed some key points in the custody agreement that cost me significant parental time. Had he taken the time to do a “red line” review from previous offers and counter offers he would’ve notice. Nine months later I hired a different lawyer in the same building and paid a quarter of what Mr. Perrin charged. The result was exactly what I wanted... approximately half physical custody. You can find a better lawyer than Marc Perrin.

Marc handled my divorce a couple of years ago. He is a straight shooter and gets right to the point. Definitely not a hand holder, but is interested in advocating for you. Keep the emotions out of it (save that for your therapist) and you will have a good experience. I photocopied all of my necessa...ry documents and gave them a copy and that helped cut costs. I also didn't call him unless I absolutely knew it was something that I could not find the answer or that his secretary couldn't answer, otherwise that will send your bill through the roof fast! I fared better than I thought I would in the end and I was appreciative of Marc's experience, frankness and recommendations. We were able to stay out of court. Two and a half years later, I can still confidently recommend him to anyone that has to go through the painful process of divorce.
