    Tax Controversy and Tax Resolution work is a major area of my practice. I often combine several legal strategies to eliminate tax debt, such as bankruptcy, offer in compromise, and/or Installment Agreements for both the IRS and OR Dept. of Revenue.

    I handle consumer bankruptcy matters for debtors only. These matters include Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 pre-planning, debt negotiation, litigation, and post-bankruptcy issues. Bankruptcy is often used to eliminate tax debts.

    Services include: Preparing and Filing Articles with Oregon Secretary of State; Drafting Bylaws and Operating Agreements; Shareholder Agreement; Drafting Annual Meeting Minutes; Change of Ownership Agreements.

I began my legal career later in life - I wanted to live my other childhood dream of being a blackjack dealer first. I learned a wide variety of skills in my former life; the primary among them was how to teach people to play the game. The law is similar to blackjack: there are a variety of complicated rules and insider knowledge that the general public may not be familiar with that can get someone into trouble. Even those with experience with the "game" need an experienced and knowledgeable advocate that will show them a better way to play. I bring experience, knowledge, strategy, and enthusiasm to my legal practice.
