Drew graduated from the University of Oregon in 1972, and the University of Oregon School of Law in 1975 where he was on the staff of the Oregon Law Review. He is an attorney in private practice and has successfully represented Social Security disability claimants for 41 years before the Social Security Administration, the United States District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
