Incompetent

This guy was disciplined in 2008 by a state licensing authority and lost his license for a period of time He returned to practicing law when his suspension expired. He has other complaints about his behavior as recent as 2019 regarding how incompetent his is as a defense attorney. One review is "He ...does not do what he says. He cares nothing about his clients. "He does not answer or return phone calls. " I found this to be true. No matter what, a person deserves to have an attorney that will represent them and advocate for them rather than just go through the motions for a paycheck.

Not in it for the client

After he assigned my case it took over a month to make contact to set an appoinment for our first meeting just which ended up being two weeks from my trial date. I was informed by his receptionist that Mr. CLARK doesn't take call, does not return calls, and Mr. Clark does not do "the email" (yes she ...said "the email). She would be the person who was to answer my inquiries, but never once did she give me an solid answer to anything I specifically asked. She did inform me of date changes but not only did she tell me the wrong dates, but she also didnt get the type of court proceeding accurate. Even after I had corrected her two separate times previously, and when I pointed this out she lied to me and Mr. Clark about what was said. She must have forgot she wrote it in an email. Clark said we were to take my case to trial, but no one would tell me how exactly we were going to argue my case. Being my first legal matter I had sent an email asking what things I need to do to prepare myself for trial, but no response was given. I informed Mr. Clark via email that I wanted him to submit the appropriate forms to the court so I could be assigned another public defender, and they ignored this request too.

Friendly and useless

He does not do what he says. He cares nothing about his clients. He does not answer or return phone calls. His son the secretary is a rude snotty lumpy lil cuss of a man. Did not take long to see I had wasted time and money on an attorney who if possible gives less help than the public defender. HAD ...TO FIRE HIM!!!
