Sarah was fine to work with, but I felt taken advantage of by the financial aspects of our arrangement. She had me sign some paperwork that said retainer and pay thousands of dollars. I have worked with several lawyers in the past, and they would charge an hourly amount out of that retainer, and then... when the case was finished, would repay the rest. Well, apparently it was a flat fee agreement, and she kept all of the money, even though I settled the custody arrangement quickly. She felt justified, but I felt taken advantage of. I was also disappointed with her response.

When we hired Sarah a long time ago, and went to court, and she had all the evidence to her and she didn’t even look at the evidence. She just missed it. The father did want to commit suicide and at that point the father would’ve lost his rights and the baby would’ve been better off without her dad....

First and foremost the accomadation for my communication needs were probably my favorite thing about Sara. She was very helpful in explaining everything to me in the best way she could. Not only was she easy to work with, but just her understanding of how difficult this entire process was for me and ...the why's behind it made it just a great match for representation.

Sarah was amazing! She took an incredibly stressful situation and made it bearable. I was dealing with a very abusive ex and was terrified of what he might say to manipulate the judge and her decision. Sarah saw right through it all though, and asked all the right questions so the judge could see eve...ryone’s true colors. She was an absolute pit bull when she needed to be, but also so empathetic and reassuring to my nerves. She took charge and didn’t let my ex bulldoze, despite him trying several times. The only negative thing I have to say is communication was hard through email. I felt like there was a lot of waiting for Sarah or her assistant to respond to what I felt were time sensitive issues. At the end of the day though, I honestly don’t believe I would have won my case with any other lawyer. I am so incredibly grateful for all of Sarah’s hard work and counsel through my custody case, and cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Sarah!
