Minus 5 stars should be available

I do not understand all the 5 star reviews. Megan Perry cost me thousands of dollars in my divorce with her bad advise and lack of knowledge. It was like she was working for my ex and not me. Now I find out she will not be held responsible for any of the damage she has done to me and others like me w...ho trusted her when she said she would take care us. The BAR association is culpable in all of this too. All they will do is represent their own. I now find myself victimized by our alleged legal system on top of Ms Perry's incompetence. The least they could of done is make her pay back the fees she charged for such shoddy representation. Now the ex is coming after me again and all the courts will say is "too bad for you, you signed the documents." Beware the legal system, they are not on your side and they do not care about you.

Review

My husband and I hired Mrs Perry to represent us in his ex wife and their custody child support and to possibly get more parenting time. After almost a year of paying her and her not replying to our emails not submitting paperwork that we agreed too, not returning our phone calls etc! After even havi...ng meetings with her and us paying her another 600 dollars for her to continue to falsely say she is doing everything she can. In hopes that something would come about. Come to find out she settled our case without our knowledge! When we asked her how this could happen? She again asked for money to modify a case she knew no longer existed!! We then waited 8 more months in hopes to find out what had happened. Long story short we ended up hiring another attorney to fix what she messed up and to get back what we lost in court without our knowledge! We've been in court now for almost 3 and half years due to Megan's incompetence!

Horrible!! terrible communication no follow through misfiled paperwork

I do not recommend hiring Miss Perry! I cannot stress that enough. She is a terrible attorney. She cost me thousands of dollars in lost alimony and child support. There were multiple times she did not file paperwork resulting in a divorce that didn’t go through when both parties thought it did. It t...ook two years to finalize a divorce and was not contested by either party. I am aware of 2 other parties that had the same issues with her lack of filing papers and not communicating effectively. She is not competent or fit to be an attorney. Miss Perry should be disbarred!

Custody success!

This is a well deserved 5 star review for Megan M Perry, and her amazing team at the law offices of Perry and Moeller. I oddly got the recommendation from my grandfather; whom knows Megan's legal assistant through her great work in the community and also her choice in good brews. The office was alw...ays contacting me or responding back usually within hours of me calling them and they were repeatedly reassuring me back to positivity. Divorce is stressful and they made it so I felt relaxed and comfortable with decisions and results. My dissolution/custody had been going on for 3 years, 2 counties and 2 attorneys. It was a battle that I thought wouldn't have a good outcome. I was completely wrong! And am 110% grateful I hired this law office. Even though my divorce is finalized when and if I have questions they're still willing to answer. I myself and my family recommend them for any family legalities or even for any questions.

Divorce

Ms. Perry assisted me with my divorce. Unfortunately, my experience was not good. The communication was poor, nearly every conversation with Mrs. Perry in the office or on the phone started out with, I have an important phone call and don’t have much time to talk, or I’m due in court and don’t ha...ve time to talk long. Many emails left unanswered, phone calls short, issues were ignored, things I was told would get done, didn’t. I was misinformed many times regarding processes. I wasn’t kept informed on my case. I wasn’t given options or choices on many occasions. Choices and decisions were made without my review which created unnecessary problems. I didn’t receive monthly statements as I was told I would. Although, I requested statements many times each month, I only received 1 statement in 6 months, full of pages with over whelming amounts of charges. I truly believe the most stressful part of this divorce was the representation. Needless to say my ex-husband and I are divorced. Unfortunately, I had to terminate Ms. Perry’s services before all filing was finished.
