Desk is Inhumane!

Mold in several coffee cups on her desk. Was told to wait while she investigated future Disneyland Deals. Speaks loudly about her clients to others. Please see her revocation with Oregon DOJ for the same reasons... A conflict of interest in the court system.. Paid thousand of dollars, never a s...how in court.

The Best of the Best

I hired Lisa to represent me in my divorce. The circumstances in my case were probably the hardest that a lawyer can deal with. Specifically, my ex wife was abusive and extremely mentally ill. Without Lisa, I do not believe my children would be in a safe place right now. She was honest and forthcomin...g about my advantages, weak points, and things to consider. She was not afraid to tell me when I was wrong, which should be appreciated in cases like this. The divorce was long and drawn out, 15 months. During that time, Lisa was patient with my stress, and always answered questions in a timely manner. If you want a lawyer with integrity and honesty, but also knows how to win, you would do well to hire Lisa. There is not enough gratitude in the world for me to express just what she has done for my children and me.

Very Pleased

Lisa represented me in a child custody case. She was always prompt and prepared. She was very honest with me and helped me set realistic goals with the custody agreement. I truly believe I would not have custody of my children had I chose someone else to represent me. I have not hesitated in recommen...ding her to my friends.

Unethical, incompetent, non communicative

Lisa Wright was recommended to me by one of my clients, and she sounded like a great fit for me. I reached out via email. Didn't hear back for some time (weeks). When she finally did email me back, she said that my email had gotten sent to her junk folder. OK happens all of us, no big deal. Communic...ation continued to be an issue. I had to pursue her. I continually reached out. At some point I finally even left a voicemail just saying that if I don't hear from the office in the next day or so, that I would assume that she did not wish to, or could not take my case at this time. They finally got back to me and I went in for a meeting. I gave her a retainer of $3k. I signed the documents that she prepared during our meeting, she said she would file them in the next 7-10 days. There was some time sensitivity but 7-10 was acceptable to me. I left feeling pretty good, like she understood my case, and that the course of action we had chosen was good. Week after week, I heard nothing, even after asking for updates. During the months of correspondence from me reaching out to conclusion, I literally got every excuse in the book for the terrible communication, the spam folder, severe illness, and death in the family. Finally, 25 days later, I told the office to wait on filing. I was having second thoughts about going forward with my case. Then all of a sudden, Lisa claims she had just driven up to Clackamas county just that day to file, but only stopped the filing process when she received my email saying I was having second thoughts. How convenient that she could bill for the $800 of time to drive to Clackamas once I said to wait. After 25 days of ignoring my requests for updates. It's almost comical. I let the office know that I was not going to proceed with my case. When I asked for the remainder of my retainer back, first Lisa said that she had sent it back in December and she would have to put a stop payment on that check before issuing another. Then she said she was waiting on checks for her new account, the next week it was the same excuse, and then in the end she told me that she had actually "goofed" and that not only was none of my retainer left, but that I owed them money. To recap: I had ONE 90 minute meeting with Lisa, and no paperwork was ever filed. For $3k?!?!?! In what universe. I went back-and-forth with her to try to come to a logical conclusion to this conflict, and she just acted as though she was flabbergasted that I would be upset and think that I did not get my moneys worth.
