Honest and straight forward

He explained the reality of the situation clearly and with compassion. He was also honest enough to say he wasn't the right lawyer for this case.

Organized, efficient, and thoughtful probate attorney

Freeman was organized, efficient, and thoughtful all through our family's probate process from the initial consultation to the court approved closure of the estate. He made what would have been a confusing and emotional process understandable and manageable, and was always accessible for questions. M...y family could not recommend him more highly. Very satisfied!

Rapid response, focused answers

A Google search led me to an article Mr Green had written regarding the Oregon small estate affidavit process. I called his office and Mr. Green generously made time for a same-day phone consultation. After asking questions to assess my situation, he outlined possible approaches and costs involved to... remedy the problem. I greatly appreciated his low-key manner, and the focused, detailed advice he provided.

Avoid probate mistakes

Reach out to a few probate lawyers. Listen to their angle. In my case, Freeman was the only one that pointed me to published Oregon PDFs instead of asking to take my money and schedule a consolation meeting.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I worked in the same office with Freeman a few years ago and saw his ability to understand complex legal issues and to address the needs of clients. Because of his integrity, legal abilities, and interpersonal skills, I have consulted with him on a number of cases, including wrongful death, probate, and conservatorships. He has always been able to answer my questions with direct, accurate advise. I have not hesitated to refer clients to him and will continue to do so in the future."
