My case dragged due to the pandemic for a good 14 months, Ryan and Abby were understanding through my whole case. In between meetings with ryan and Abby they were there every step of the way to answer my questions and always responded to my emails and calls in a timely manner. I ended up getting sole custody, establishing paternity and settling child support for my twin boys thank you again Ryan!

Ryan was very kind and understanding. I was really nervous about the process for child care, support, custody, co-parent battle, but he listened to my concerns and provided helpful suggestions. He worked in a fast efficient process, to make the whole transition easier. There were times I had random q...uestions, but he made sure to take the time to respond back right away to ease my mind. Ryan Johnson represented me in reopening my divorce and child support agreement against my ex, who is also an attorney. He was always prompt and respectful, his staff very helpful, and I believe he gave excellent advice on strategy. From the beginning, he was clear about what I was asking for and wha...t was a reasonable expectation of outcome. He was dead right, too. Because of time and circumstances, it had become a very complex issue. I had long since moved from Salem to Portland, and my original attorney retired. The plaintiff dragged her feet and it appeared it would be a long, protracted court case, there had already been almost 10 pleadings and status conferences. The entire time, I felt comfortable with him representing me. Ryan pressed all the issues firmly, and through the court kept her feet to the fire, and ultimately convinced her to settle. Throughout, I thought he was fair and kind, and he even advised me when I was being unreasonable. To this day, my ex still complains what a persistent, tenacious opponent he was. When it was all finalized, the cost was less than what he had estimated to be the upper end, with a lot more court appearances than he had expected. Since then, I have consulted him multiple times for other legal issues, and have found his advice to be well thought and fair. Let me put it another way: I have an autoimmune disorder, and I wish my medical specialists could be as attentive and diligent as he is.
