Maria Cobarrubias

Ms. Cobarrubias graduated from law school in 2007 and initially practiced civil litigation.  She left her firm to pursue her dream of helping the immigrant community.  Having been the child of once undocumented parents and growing up in the orchards of Oregon where her family worked as farm workers, she understands first hand the struggles that migrant workers, undocumented individuals, and mixed status families go through.  After practicing for several years at two immigration firms, she returned to the State of Oregon in November of 2015 and started her own practice.  In addition, to the practice of law, Ms. Cobarrubias is an active community member that enjoys volunteering her time at workshops, legal clinics, and motivating students to continue their education.
