1-Star Review Our experience with Mai Vang at Johnson & Taylor in Salem, Oregon was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, deeply unprofessional. I would not recommend her as an attorney. I was a young single mother for 8 years, and Ms. Vang represented me for approximately ten months in a ...
Hi Sarai, We are sorry you felt that way with Mai’s representation. However, Mai made it very clear at the start of her representation that you are the final decision-maker. Mai laid out all the options to you and letting you know the risks and benefits of each option. Mai recommended that rather than go to a hearing, the settlement she negotiated on your behalf was the better option, you still chose to go to the hearing. At every decision making point, Mai informed you that you had the ability and opportunity to seek a second opinion, which you did, and still chose to retain Mai as your attorney (twice). The final Court judgment shows that you and Father stipulated to a 50/50 plan. Ultimately, Mai’s analysis that your family would end at a 50/50 plan was correct. We wish you and your family the best moving forward.
