Mr lipton was appointed on a trespass case, he refused to file anything at all. Said he didnt have time...so i filed something! And he did not work as a team. He does what he wants independent of what the "client" goals are, and publicly criticized me ( and what i filed) to the judge. Other things we...re within the bar complaint, but the attorney-client privelege was abused by mr lipton, needlessly. A bar complaint was filed, and then he typed up attorney-client information and publicly sent it to the prosecutor and judge. The bar association was notified and he was "admonished" (2017) for his actions. This is a public record. The bar association minimized it but did make it a public record. If you get him appointed, he will do what the other reviewers stated. These typical cases the facts are within the plea...otherwise he might be disclosing priveleged things to the state that will be their secret star chamber or deliberate.

Mr. Lipton was my DUII attorney recently. I never had a meeting with him prior to my court appearance, and when I went to my appearance he had me fill out my own paperwork. After my appearance he told me to figure out which classes I wanted to take and sent me on my way. I ran into a few issues du...ring my diversion and I attempted multiple times to contact Mr. Lipton, including leaving voice mails and I never received a call back. I've pretty much taken care of my entire diversion process myself without the help or input of this attorney. I would never recommend this attorney to anyone.

I believed he was working a lot of cases where he was a court appointed attorney when I used him. He was great for what I needed done. I wanted the case resol...ved so I could get visitation back. Because he was doing a lot of court appointed defense case he was the right attorney to get this before the Judge with a decent plea agreement. Time was a big factor in wanting this case resolved quickly. My in come did not allow me to have a court appointed attorney. So I hired him and he made a deal with the D>A> that was ot too painful and fast.
