My first choice for Bankruptcy!

Mr. Camacho handled my case professionally and everything went smoothly. He was detailed, thorough and got me where I needed to be. At my hearing, I saw other people with their attorneys and the results they were getting were not favorable. Mr. Camacho is a Trustee and clearly knows what he is doing.... I felt prepared at my hearing and everything went as he had stated it would in respect to my petition. It was quite apparent to me that there are many attorneys who may practice bankruptcy law, but certainly not all are qualified!

Expert Bankruptcy Attorney (also a Bankruptcy Trustee)

We went to see many attorneys before coming to seeing Rudy. All of the other attorneys that we saw were free. After seeing many attorneys and still not feeling comfortable we made an appointment with Rudy. His office charged a consult fee. After the consult it was obvious why his office charged a fe...e. What we received in 1 hour, as far as knowledge and their attention to detail (to my particular situation) was night and day. I am a small business owner and we were not organized at all or prepared to the process we were beginning. In the hour consult with Rudy we got more information than the 3 other attorneys combined. He was methodical, succinct and laid out the information in a chronological manner that made it evident how critical it would be to be organized and well informed before jumping into the process. We found out that in order for an attorney to give effective advise we needed to have all of our documents available and all of our ducks in a row. After the initial consult Rudy had us return for a second consult that he did not charge for. Because of his extensive years as a Bankruptcy lawyer and many thousands of cases I imagine he’s seen as a Bankruptcy Trustee we felt very comfortable in moving forward. It was encouraging knowing we were not dealing with some 28 year old attorney with only 2 years of experience who didn’t know what they where talking about.

Bankruptcy, very knowledgeable

Rodolfo Camacho filed on my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. He was very friendly always gave me information that was straight forward and made the whole process as easy as possible for me. Everything happened just like he said it would and I got my discharge for my bankruptcy, which was a huge relief!!

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2018.

Suspension Partially Stayed Placed on Probation issued in OR, 2018

updated on 04/05/2018

Suspension partially stayed means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. When the attorney returns to practice he or she will be on probation, meaning the State monitors the attorney's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Reprimand issued in OR, 2005

updated on 08/29/2015

This means the lawyer did something wrong but the bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Rodolfo’s comment:

“Client came to me and stated he was given garnishment by his merchant bank. He stated that he was never served with a law suit. I immediately prepared a motion to set aside judgment. I called the adversary and informed her of my action and she hung up. I took motion ex parte to judge with affidavits from employees of client. I told my Associate to take a copy of ALL related documents to Adversary. Unfortunately only the motion to set aside was delivered and nothing else was given to her.”
