I'll start with the positives because there were a lot. Cole was very kind, engaged and listened to me when most other lawyers ignored me. He didn't seem to be driven by the clock and was not condescending which is rare with lawyers. He seemed very knowledgeable professional and was highly recommende...d. He gave me access to his portal to upload my evidence for his review. We saw this as a huge positive and it offered hope in a very bad situation involving retaliation, intimidation from my landlords and severe habitability issues. The negatives were incredibly frustrating. During the initial call he expressed hesitation because of a recent loss in my county. After some research I found that the loss he had could never apply to me because I am a current paying tenant so the fee shifting statues would apply in my case but it was clear it made him weary. He told me we would have a follow up in 5 days after he reviewed my evidence and I made sure all of my information and documentation was uploaded and organized for him and he would have an answer for me on taking my case or not. 5 days pass and we have that meeting. He recommended we only go after one thing because it reduced the likelihood they could argue the issue. I was confused but understood the logic. He let me know he would have an answer for me by the end of that week on taking the case or not. He did not meet his own deadline, by the following week I reached out to him letting him know I needed an answer. He quickly let me know he would not be representing me and implied my case was imply to complex and apologized. I greatly appreciated his time as I know it's valuable, but it was frustrating to put effort into him knowing everything and being thorough for him to brush it off two weeks later. I could have been putting all of my energy into finding alternative representation. I do recommend him based on his demeanor and how professional and kind he was. If your case is complex or he recently suffered a loss in your area make sure you manage your expectations going into the consultation and continue to pursue all other avenues while you wait for his answer. He's done alot of great things for tenants which isn't lost on me. I truly hope he can help others in situations similar to me.

I hired Cole to help me with problems w my landlord. It was one of the best experiences w an attorney I’ve ever had. He’s very friendly and easy to talk to. He was very prompt and always responsive. We got the issue settled exactly how I wanted it. The landlord backed off entirely, couldn’t have b...een a better resolution. I would recommend him w/o reservation. Thank you Cole.
