Mike Evans,

During the worst period of my life, Mike Evans was a godsend. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He guided me through an unexpected and horrible divorce with clear-eyed, compassionate professionalism. He was always generous with his time and my endless questions. He guided me back on track when I ...veered off into an emotional tailspin. His office support team is also extremely professional and thorough, particularly Veronica. Mike was always fully informed, completely prepared and when we had to go to trial, we prevailed. His thoroughness made the other counsel look, at best, like an amateur. Mike was the voice of reason and a champion of my children's welfare. I researched and interviewed multiple attorneys, including some of the most well publicized firms in Portland before settling on Mike and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in such a difficult position. Retain him. He's not flashy, but boy, is he solid.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Don't let the avvo rating fool you, Mike is a very experienced solid family law attorney. As a fellow attorney in the community, I have worked with Mike Evans as the opposing attorney in a divorce case. I find Mike to be professional, experienced, and a great advocate for his clients. Now that I am focusing on DUI cases, Mike is one of the top family law attorneys I think of when clients or business contacts need a divorce or custody attorney."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
