Wesley D Fitzwater

Wes Fitzwater has been the best estate attorney that I have ever worked with. This is the third time I've been the personal representative of an estate and when my beloved best friend asked me to be hers, I strongly resisted because of the negative experiences I had previously. My concerns, however, ...were unfounded and that is due to Mr. Fitzwater. He has made this process smooth, drama free, and easy for me. I really don't know how I would have fulfilled her wishes without him. I am so grateful to her that she chose Mr. Fitzwater to set up her affairs and that, despite the financial challenges, Mr Fitzwater agreed to represent the estate. It has been a complicated one but not for me, because he has made it easy. In addition to his impressive understanding of the law and what the state of Oregon requires, his emotional intelligence in what happens after a loved one passes and how people can behave in unexpected ways is vast and supremely helpful. He takes it all in stride, understands the personal rep's challenges, and then provides the options and advice to make everything go smoothly and fairly. He's kind but he's also firm when needed, especially when it comes to representing the estate, protecting the wishes of the deceased, and protecting the personal rep from bad behaviour from the beneficiaries.
