Mrs. Brinkman represented our Company, a large home remodeling firm, in a lawsuit brought by a former customer. The case turned out to be quite intricate due to the number and type of claims alleged. Catherine handled the lawsuit from start to finish with complete professionalism and was more than... adept at parsing out the various claims and proficiently attacking them one by one. She was dogged in her approach to opposing counsel, yet maintained their respect as well throughout. Catherine's approach to, and handling of, the discovery process, most especially the taking and defending of depositions, was instrumental in bringing opposing counsel to the bargaining table and she was a prime mover in the ultimate settlement of the case, which was very favorable to the Company. Opposing counsel was far more than entrenched at the outset of the case and would not even treat with Mrs. Brinkman until it became evident that Catherine knew her business and knew it very well.
