I was involved with a high asset divorce for over a year. My first attorney was OK, but things were moving slowly. So I switched to hire Bob. After my first appointment with him, I felt for the first time that I had someone who had the experience, knowledge and firepower to advocate for me. He knows ...about high asset law and has a great team. I really felt that he really cared about me and my case. He encouraged me to do research and to contribute what I knew. He took into consideration my suggestions. He wasn't in it just for the money and encouraged me to take steps that I could to lessen the costs for me. And, at one point, maybe sensing I was low on funds, he gave me a professional discount! Things went as quickly and with as good final result as can be expected. When we met with opposing counsel for the deposition and before the judge, the only thing I could think of was, "Boy, I'm sure glad that Bob is MY attorney-- and not my spouse's attorney!"

Bob Demary is an amazing attorney. I used him to secure custody of my child during a difficult time. He cared deeply about my situation, providing amazing legal expertise with a real personal touch. Mr Demary has represented me regarding my legal matters for several years. A number of years ago he did an outstanding job negotiating the property settlement and divorce from my former spouse. Most recently Bob challenged the continuation of the $2k per month spousal support I have been paying for a... number of years. I was seeking a reduction based on the fact that my ex-wife was cohabitating with a man and they had purchased a home together. When the case went to trial Mr Demary was very well prepared and argued the case successfully. Bottom line... The judge agreed with our position and totally eliminated any further payments to my ex-wife. I couldn't have expected a better outcome! Several of my friends recommended Bob as the best attorney in the Portland area for domestic relations issues. I have to agree with there assessment. Where Bob really "shines" is during his courtroom presentation... Highly recommended him to anyone seeking legal counsel in this area...

My experience with Demary is that he and the parent firm could not keep basic documents organized. Documents submitted as part of opposing party disclosure were later not to be found in his office. He was rarely prepared for our meetings. It felt as if he was always playing catch up during our meetin...gs. He did not read materials I sent him to support my case. I felt he brought little insight to the case. Other than a lawyer in court being a requirement I can't come up with anything he brought to my case. And the results in court were very very poor for me.

Bob was awesome. I was in the middle of a very complicated divorce and custody battle, when I switched to Bob because things were not moving forward. . He got more done in two weeks than my other attorney did in six months. The final outcome was nearly $100.000 more in my favor than the recommended ...settlement my previous attorney was suggesting, and $1500 per month less alimony. I cannot be more pleased with his expertise and aggressiveness needed in my case! I definitely highly recommend Bob, for any divorce case, and especially where there is a lot of wealth at stake.
