Constant attempts to force me to settle

Phil Nelson represented me in a corporate shareholder dispute as I paid an up front fee of $75k. The case progressed to the point of us winning at summary judgment. Eventually, Phil threatened to quit repeatedly because I would not settle for what HE deemed I should settle for, not what I adamantly... requested, the fair value of my stock and other relief that survived summary judgment. Repeated threats to quit if I did not agree to his demand that I settle, along with promises (in writing) that an entire month of legal fees would be waived if I settled. For fear of losing counsel, I was left with no choice but to settle. As well, the month of fee's that were never removed as promised.

Knowledgeable, quick, and efficient

I have worked with Phil for many years as he is the attorney for my business and has helped me with some personal legal issues as well. He is the most knowledgeable attorney I have ever worked with, and very quick to get you a very thorough answer and doesn't speak to you in a language you can't unde...rstand. He has fought and won every case he has taken on for my business and has helped us through many legal situations throughout the year. I am working with him currently and he always gets back to me with solid answers and I am always 100% confident in his advice and judgement.
