SHOULD YOU HIRE WESTBROOK, SHE WILL BE ON YOUR SIDE. SHE WON'T WASTE HER TIME OR YOUR TIME BEATING AROUND THE BUSH. SHE IS DIRECT AND HONEST. CLEAR AND FREQUENT COMMUNICATION IS WHAT TEAMWORK IS ALL ABOUT. HIRING WESTBROOK MEANS YOU ARE PART OF THE TEAM FIGHTING FOR WHAT IS FAIR AGAINST BULLIES.

Westbrook has practiced nothing but criminal defense for over 13 years. She loves what she does. She works hard and gets great results for the people she represents. Westbrook believes the key to achieving a great outcome is making sure her clients set their own priorities, understand their options and make fully informed decisions. Every client is different and as a case develops Westbrook counsels clients to help reach their personal goals.

Westbrook has been in a courtroom five days a week for 16 years. She’s practiced in almost every court in western Oregon. She began her career as a judicial clerk working for judges in Lane County and Multnomah County. As a clerk and certified law student for a public defenders' office during law school she was mentored by excellent experienced attorneys who taught her how to fight the government from the trenches. She next practiced in Marion and Multnomah County handling thousands of criminal cases. She understands how judges view cases and how they make decisions. She gets immense joy catching the police behaving badly and dishonestly. She strives to know more about the case than anyone else in the room. Westbrook knows that jurors want to be guided and they don’t like feeling tricked. Her goal is to get the jury on your team and her clear no-nonsense approach is effective in that regard.

Westbrook will fight for what is just and fair. The government starts with the upper hand but with hard work and knowledge she can tilt the scales in your favor.

A lawyer who is secretly a super lawyer
Without Westbrook I would be sitting in prison tonight. I have worked with her for over a year on my case and when I say that, what I mean is: she has dealt with me for over a year and worked on my case. Westbrook is the definition of left field, she comes up with stuff out of no where that makes you feel stupid for never thinking of yourself. In my year with her I definitely thought I finally had an idea of what sort of attorney she was and how she operates. NOPE! She suits up for court and it’s as if you hired a whole different woman! There were times in that court room I’d sworn I saw a cape around her. This woman is absolutely amazing and I owe my life to her, if I ever get falsely accused again there is no one else I would ever go to. EVER. If I moved across the country I’d make her get licensed there just to be my defense again. I gave this poor woman absolute hell for things that had nothing to do with her at times and yet she’d be up until 3am working on my case. She can seem a bit unorthodox but let me assure you there is a method to her madness and you do not want to be the one going against her in a court room because she works in the most unpredictable ways and then suddenly brings it all together and by the time you realize what she did it’s already over. I’m not saying I trust the process, but I do trust her and her process. You have the choice of who’s about to defend you and based on what you did or in my case what you are falsely accused of doing…. Trust me when I say that Westbrook is best bet I ever put my life on. She’s amazing, she’s the best, she’s going to get you through the nearly impossible,

Westbrook: A Responsive Powerhouse
I was in a bind in Oregon City with an unexpected criminal charge. Westbrook came highly recommended by a top divorce attorney and proved skilled and knowledge on extremely short notice by consulting me on the phone, text, and in person during a last minute hearing. She has a heart to help the underdog while staying cool under pressure (without bias). My unique and challenging legal situation has been a nightmare, but Westbrook’s wisdom and generous spirit while always being willing to assist has truly been a breath of fresh air. If you need a great criminal attorney then can handle complex situations, call Westbrook and tell her “Mansquito!” sent you!

The best there ever was!
Three years ago I was wrongfully convicted of crimes I did not commit. After winning an appeal I was assigned Westbrook. I was a problem client, I did not wanna wave my sixty day speedy trial rights to give her more time to work on my case all I saw was the thirty months I had been wrongfully imprisoned. Westbrook did her best and actually won my case and got me released from custody. After watching my previous attorney just roll over and show his belly during the first trial, it was refreshing just to see Westbrook fight, veraciously for my rights, to defend me with a tenacity of someone who honestly cares about doing their very best. I would say hands down Westbrook is the best lawyer in Oregon.
