Have worked with Gary many times, and always impressed by his flexibility and interpretation of the multiple dimensions of every business legal issue, particularly at the intersection of startup corporate matters and intellectual property legal strategy.
One of his many specific and unusual facets is that he understands the realities and pragmatic constraints of the businessperson, rather than depending upon a theoretical POV of the legal issues. This means practical advice that you can really use, and first rate legal counsel when you really need it.
Gary is also unafraid to tell you when you're in trouble or have made a mistake, although it usually doesn't feel like he has. A soft touch but doesn't shy away from the tough issues.
Endorsements from fellow lawyers are an important consideration for many when selecting the right attorney. Be the first to endorse your colleague!
