J David Zehntbauer

David is a partner at Dunn Carney whose practice focuses on real estate and corporate law. He leads the firm's Real Estate and Land Use team and is an active member of the Corporate Counsel, Hospitality, Intellectual Property, and Condominium and Planned Community teams.  He has extensive experience in commercial property acquisitions and dispositions as well as commercial leasing and lease enforcement.  He also works with real property owners to form new construction condominiums, conversion condominiums and planned unit developments. He has particular expertise in the hospitality industry working with restaurant and bar owners.   In 2007, David's peers recognized him as an Oregon Super Lawyer in Real Estate.

In addition to his real estate work, David advises clients regarding entity selection and formation, including the representation of closely held business and emerging growth companies receiving venture capital investment.  He also works with clients on licensing, Federal and State trademark registration and domain name disputes.  

David is also active in the community serving as a board member for Community Warehouse, Inc. and is active in several real estate organizations in Portland.
