Biography
I was born in Portland, Oregon, but grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona. I returned to Oregon for college and law school, and have lived in Portland for over 10 years. During that time I have dedicated my time to working to improve our community and criminal justice system. I have worked at the Federal Public Defenders, the Multnomah Courthouse, and Metropolitan Public Defenders. I have volunteered for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), National Lawyer's Guild (NLG), Oregon Justice Resource Center (OJRC), Oregon Innocence Project, and Community Alliance of Tenants (CAT).
