Bennett P. Dalton was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2005 after graduating from Lewis and Clark Law School. He received his B.A. in 2001 from Portland State University and attended high school in Troutdale, OR.
Bennett began working for Guinn & Dalton while in law school. Having identified with Mr. Guinn’s background and with the philosophy behind the practice, he was hired as an associate attorney upon admission to the bar.
Bennett’s practice focuses on representing injured and disabled workers in claims for benefits under Oregon workers’ compensation and Social Security disability laws. Bennett strives to serve as an equalizer for injured and disabled workers against the powerful insurance companies and bureaucracies that attempt to avoid paying duly-owed benefits. Bennett also handles personal injury, wrongful termination and discrimination cases that are sometimes involved with these claims.

"Bennett is a knowledgeable and fierce advocate with a unique appreciation for the workers’ compensation system."
"Bennet is my Oregon State Bar mentor, former co-worker and longtime family friend. He is always a dependable, hardworking and patient advocate who will stand up for his client's rights. I greatly value his input and guidance when I encounter legal or ethical dilemmas and he has helped me brave the sometimes rough waters of being a new attorney. Ethics are extremely important to Bennet, he truly cares about his clients and he is very committed to fighting for the rights of injured and often mistreated workers."
