Gary J Susak

Gary J. Susak was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. His father was an electrician, and Gary worked with his father while he was growing up. He received his undergraduate degree from Seattle University and then received his J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in 1972. He began his law practice in LaGrande, Oregon, where he handled a wide variety of cases, including civil, criminal and corporate matters. He spent 20 years in Eastern Oregon and was actively involved in his community, his church, his children’s sporting and school activities, and was the Cub Master of his son’s Boy Scout Troop. During that time he also served as LaGrande’s Municipal Court Judge, was an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Oregon State University, and was an officer in the Oregon National Guard.

Gary returned to Portland with his family in 1988 and became a partner of our law firm.  He has dedicated his career to the representation of people with personal injury, medical negligence, and product liability cases.

Gary has been married for over 40 years and has three children and six grandchildren. He enjoys outings with his family, golfing, fishing, hunting, reading, physical fitness, and all spectator sports, with a special fondness for Notre Dame Football.
