Robert Jeremy Rust

Jeremy Rust is a native Oregonian.  He grew up in Eugene, Oregon, where his parents instilled a unique desire to be self-employed, an Oregonian work ethic and a tremendous love for the outdoors.  Jeremy enjoys many types of recreational outdoor activities from waterfowl hunting in the fall, to fishing for chinook in the spring. 

Jeremy graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors of Science, majoring in general science, minoring in chemistry and spending a semester at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology in Charleston, Oregon. 

In addition to the law, Jeremy has held jobs as a janitor, construction laborer, restaurant equipment salesman and service technician, and spent three and a half years in commercial refrigeration.   Working in the commercial refrigeration trade and traveling Oregon and Washington to build and remodel large chain grocery stores was an experience as defining as it was life changing.  Jeremy enjoyed the responsibility of overseeing large, new construction and remodel projects from start to finish, and  interacting with customers, store personnel and other tradesmen.  However, he continued to have a desire to meet professional goals he set for himself in high school and become rooted in a single community. 

Jeremy is a 2009 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law.  While in law school, he interned in the Crook County Counsel’s Office and participated as a student attorney at the Lane County Legal Aid and Advocacy Center.  Both of these experiences provided hands on experience in diverse areas of law and allowed Jeremy to work with people from different walks of life on a variety of legal issues.

Jeremy  intends on growing a general practice in Clatsop County, in addition to his work in and around the Portland area.  His particular areas of interest are: Estate Planning, Family Law, Small Business set-up, development and litigation, Bankruptcy, Residential and Commercial Tenancy Disputes.
