At the very beginning, AJ seemed like a very competent lawyer who seemed to know what she was doing. But after seeing her a few times, it became very clear that she has very little care or empathy, which is surprising considering her background work and how she handles delicate situations with a lot ...of emotions involved. There were also MANY times where she “supposedly” didn’t get emails from me even though they’re clearly sent and in my thread with her, there were many times where others were expecting correspondence from her and she claimed she sent it but then the person somehow magically never got the document/email... she also charged me for mistakes she made (except for one) and she made a HUGE crucial mistake by misreading my current parenting plan with my child’s father, and giving me the wrong information. He was supposed to get her ONE extra overnight on the first Sunday of every month, and she told me it had changed to every Sunday for every month. So I stupidly believed her and for over a month, my child and I were stressed as hell by the new schedule. There was also much more tension between my child’s father and I because of this, resulting in my needing to contact her more, and him also contacting her, which she charged me for. Upon reading my old plan closer, I discovered she was wrong and when I confronted her about it, she basically blamed me saying “well it’s not my job to look over your parenting plan and keep track of things”... UMMM YEAH IT IS. So I ended up paying an extra $60 total for her mistake. Then, the last month I worked with her, she “supposedly” didn’t get certain emails or calls from me (even though I have proof) and used those and me not paying her fast enough as reasons to drop me 6 weeks before we’re supposed to be done with all of this stuff. WORST lawyer and WORST person I have ever had the mispleasure to work with. She hardly helped me at all, and in fact made things worse a few times. The only thing she helped with was the time consuming paperwork. She is charging way more than she is worth. Do not go to this lawyer, I would not recommend.

We contacted AJ to update our wills. AJ was very helpful and presented us with several options that would be to our benefit. We are very pleased with the service AJ provided. She researched and answered our questions and took care to make sure our wills reflected all of our wishes. We have alread...y recommended AJ to friends and will continue to do so.
