Shelly Perkins represented me in my divorce and from the minute I met her, I knew I wanted to retain her. She is very knowledgeable, direct, and explains things in a way that are easy to understand. My recent experiences with the legal system revolves around my Dissolution of Marriage case. Even though my perception of the lega...l institutions leaves me cold, I have found Shelly to be a warming influence through the processes. So my wife was cheating on me for several years. I finally told her to stop or get out. A few days later she was gone and I received a false restraining order the very next day. Knowing that everything in the RO was a lie I decided to fight it on my own but it didn’t work out because I had no a...ttorney. I fought to see my 2 boys but did not make much progress. After a few months I started consulting attorneys and went to talk to one. I was told I was dreaming, and she would not take my money and good luck. To put things in to perspective as to what I was up against my ex wanted me to have only supervised visits once per week for 3hrs, plus outrageous spousal and child support. Without Shelly I do not know where I would have ended up, and I sure as heck don't want to know.
