I was in trouble. My ex was keeping my son from me and nothing was fair or right. My case was so complicated and the opposing attorney was so mean, some attorneys wouldn’t even take my case. Ms. Shelly Perkins is a very competent lawyer in Portland and at the same time very Kind and Compassionate. She has represented me more than once and helped me get through rough times. Let me start by saying "I was referred to Shelly by another divorce Attorney". I knew my divorce was going to be a messy joke. Shelly was very understanding about my case. Shelly really kept me on track with what we needed to do to win the case. Every time I wanted to be vengeful, she would point... this out and explain what the Judge wanted to hear in court and what would just irritate them. I am very thankful for that advise. She was direct in questioning during the court process, so as to not rack up my bill with useless time, (unlike the other sides Lawyer). Initially, I had no idea of what to expect once I decided to pursue my dissolution of marriage.
