I want to be very clear on Shelly Perkins and Perkins Law Is the BEST. Her knowledge of law, judges, and crazy ability to organize and speak your truth is priceless. From the start to the finish this firm makes you feel confident and comfortable that you have the best team to get your custody/div...orce process finished. I came to Shelly after being at a much more expensive and very reputable firm that did not seem to get things finished. From the start of my case with a hearing that had been filed wrong by the previous firm to the trial she got right to the point. From the start She told me what we needed every single evaluation/idea that made my case. Divorce and custody is no fun. Let a good fun team of lawyers with Perkins law make it much easier.

Child custody cases are of course always a time of emotions, and upheaval. After looking at the aspects of our particular case, Shelly quickly and efficiently came up with options for us. It wasn't a hurry up and wait...it was concise, and right now. I'm sure that wouldn't be true for all cases. ...I do believe that she and her staff had my family's best interests in mind. It was obvious within moments that her staff was professional, thoughtful, and well meaning. Our paperwork was prepared carefully, and expeditiously. I'm sure that we did not have the most important case for her office...but not once did it ever feel as if we were taking up anyone's time. Ms. Perkins was hired, performed less than three months of work - mainly through her associate Adrienne, who was excellent - and then quit abruptly less than a month before the trial. She did not understand or advance my case at all. In fact, she undermined it. Do not hire this attorney if you ar...e involved in a high conflict case. This attorney can not understand or handle aggressivley unethical opposition. Waste of time, money, energy, all to end up far worse off had I not hired her. Avoid.
