Shelly Kay Perkins

I have written very few reviews and never thought I would write one for an attorney. However, I am still absolutely amazed at the speed, efficiency and above all effectiveness of her skills shown in handling my child custody and separation case. The outcome was much quicker and far better than I ever... imagined. I would highly recommend her to anyone and will definately hire her again should a situation arise. I have hired dozens of attorneys for different issues over the past 30 years and in 3 short weeks she proved to me to be the very best there is. Selecting her to represent me was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I sincerely feel like I owe her more than I could ever repay. What a breath of fresh air... Being a man in a custody battle is a hard position to start from. First off, Shelly listened to everything I had to say. She was realistic. I was not sent in with a false set of expectations. She was always prompt. She also always consulted me before she acted on my behalf. Her experience with compet...itive attorneys showed. I was able to get the best result for my child first and then myself. The supporting staff that she has is also a godsend. Very helpful and very friendly. Child custody cases are of course always a time of emotions, and upheaval. After looking at the aspects of our particular case, Shelly quickly and efficiently came up with options for us. It wasn't a hurry up and wait...it was concise, and right now. I'm sure that wouldn't be true for all cases. ...I do believe that she and her staff had my family's best interests in mind. It was obvious within moments that her staff was professional, thoughtful, and well meaning. Our paperwork was prepared carefully, and expeditiously. I'm sure that we did not have the most important case for her office...but not once did it ever feel as if we were taking up anyone's time.
