I had a very difficult divorce and custody battle. I hired 2 "high dollar" divorce attorneys with fancy offices and several legal aids in tow to fight for my parenting rights and settle things. The first attorney actually stuttered while speaking to the judge in court and wasted thousands of dollars.... The second attorney bragged that he was a judge in a different county but spent almost two years and $80,000 to settle my case with very little parenting time for me. During every visit to his office he had multiple interruptions and answered several longwinded phone calls while charging me $300/hr. My ex-wife decided to take my child and move to a location that was 2000 miles away. That is when I was fortunate enough to meet Lisa! She not only stopped my ex from moving to Ohio, she got me custody of my daughter and child support from my ex-wife. Lisa has her act together in court! I was lucky. I found Lisa by chance, at a time when my world had suddenly turned upside-down, and it looked like I needed a lawyer. Turns out, I really did. My divorce was a nightmarish roller-coaster ride which ended in a court trial. That’s not the way we would have had it. Lisa worked with my... ex-spouse’s FIRST lawyer in mediation, endeavoring to dissolve our marriage and arrange custody of our daughter, as amicably and quickly as possible. For reasons I may never understand, my ex backed out of what could have been FOR HER, a very reasonable settlement. She hired a far more aggressive lawyer than her first, and off we went down a long and painful road. Lisa was my advocate through it all. She was always receptive to my input and desires, and I was always informed. For reasons other than a protracted divorce, I now know much more about lawyers than I did when I hired Lisa. The number one complaint clients have against lawyers, is not being informed about what’s happening. I’m still reluctant to say that anybody “won” in trial, since it was all so needless; but with Lisa, I did prevail. If you want an aggressive lawyer to be ruthless out of spite, Lisa might not be the right fit. If you need to protect yourself from an aggressive lawyer hired to be ruthless, Lisa is up for the challenge.
