Lisa M Naglins

I have practiced family law in the Portland area (Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington Counties) for over 33 years. Raised in Portland, I graduated from Marshall High School, Warner Pacific University and Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. My first 27 years of practice were in SE Portland, and in 2021 I moved my practice to Wood Village to provide my clients with an improved client-focused experience. I enjoy working with clients from both Portland and the surrounding communities, like Clackamas, Oregon City, Happy Valley, Milwaukie, Gladstone, Canby, Gresham, Wood Village, Troutdale, Damascus, and Sandy.

I realize that facing a family law case is intimidating, and sometimes downright frightening, especially if you have not been in that situation before. You will serve your interests best by seeking appropriate legal counsel and information as early on in any family law situation as you can.

Some of the most difficult cases I've encountered are those where a client comes to me after important hearings or deadlines have passed, and it is too late to completely salvage their case for them. A lot of people don't know that you do not necessarily have to retain or commit to an attorney in order to meet with them and obtain legal advice and their professional opinion on your situation. A very rewarding portion of my practice is meeting with family law litigants for one or a few times, to assist them with DIY filings, so that they have some important information and knowledge needed to make it through their case without having an attorney retained for the case.

I think it serves every potential client well to provide them with honest and up-front information about their case for the better. That is the best "Thank You" I could hope to receive!
