Can not reach

Anytime I asked for an update, or had questions about my case, it was very difficult to reach Katie, it didn't matter if it was via email, or via phone. When she would finally get in contact with me she would always calm my fears or anxiety about the situation, and that ability can be attributed to ...her vast knowledge. Unfortunately the fact that a pretty simple case drug on for weeks and weeks and months because so much time would go by before I would receive a response that I would absolutely not recommend her to anyone for any reason. The fact that a relatively simple divorce(no argument from the other party, just a few modifications here and there due to very severe clerical errors) became a big deal because we both wanted it over and done with, but it just became never ending.

Incompetent lawyer is not equipped to serve your interests.

Katie never knew the answers to anything I asked her! These were common questions..! She helped the Trustee help himself to $4,000+ that I did NOT have! I had to borrow from my 401K in order to pay the "Trustee"! I had told Katie that was what the money was for in my checking account. She didn't e...ven help protect it!! I was filing BR because I had NO money!! I t got so bad, my friends and family kept asking me if she was actually "working for the other side"! My case was very straightforward and should have only taken 4 or less months (per input from others I knew who had closed their BR's). She managed to extend my case out to 1 year!!! She would sometimes not return my calls for 2 or more weeks! Pls. do not use Katie if you value your time, your money and your sanity!

I have a lawyer for life!

I had originally thought I could represent myself in my administrative hearing. When I received the documents concerning the hearing, I panicked realizing I was truly in over my head. I didn't have any expectations going into the hearing, nor did I think a lawyer could really do anything for me in su...ch a short time as the case was within the week. But then, when I had talked to Kathleen, all of that had changed. Her knowledge and experience alone gave me much comfort in the hearing. I felt like I didn't have to worry. She was super helpful, resourceful, and prompt. I wasn't expected to be present at my hearing as I knew Kathleen was going to take care of business, but I was a curious guy and wanted to experience the "process". As I listened to her do lawyer business, I was so impressed with everything. She was knowledgable, prepared, and lethal. Yes, I felt her prosecutor experience come into play and was so glad to be on her side. I know if I ever need anything, even advice, I wouldn't hesitate to call her first.

Very happy client

I found Kathleen Baker through the Oregon state bar referral service and I could not be happier with the work she did for me. Whenever I had questions about my case or the next steps I needed to take she was readily available and willing to help. She was knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortabl...e with what was going on, since I was out of state for the entirety of the proceedings. I received return emails in a timely manner, and if she was unavailable when I called she always returned my call as soon as she was available. I have had experiences with other attorneys in the past that I was not satisfied with, and Kathleen made up for their shortcomings. I will definitely retain her again if the need ever arises and will recommend her to anyone that I know that is looking for a competent, intelligent, and hard working attorney.

I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Kathleen Baker.

When I had my incident I was extremely overwhelmed. I tried researching information on the internet and quickly recognized I was in over my head. There was a lot of information out there. Some of the information was good; however a lot of it was misleading or incomplete. Having many years of ex...perience as a prosecutor of my type of offense, Kathleen was very well versed in all aspects of my case. I felt very confident and comfortable that Kathleen let no stone go unturned and that we pursued all of our options. I received excellent advice and she was able to ease a lot of my anxiety of the process to come. She has an incredible command of the subject matter and was able to convey that information to me so that I could comfortably understand all of the legal proceedings. Most importantly, Kathleen was easily accessible. She would answer my phone calls and would respond promptly to my questions and emails. This not only happened during my legal proceedings, but well after. Hopefully you do not find yourself in the situation where you need to search for a DUII attorney on-line. In fact, I don’t know how you would with all of the predatory advertising that is out there. I feel fortunate to have been referred to Kathleen Baker and would recommend her to my friends and family should they ever fall victim to a similar situation as mine. I would not hesitate to explore Kathleen's services involving other areas of her expertise should the need ever arise. I would absolutely recommend Kathleen Baker!
