Susana Alba

Susana represented me for my divorce in a different county. She billed me for the most ridiculous things then stated she didn't bill me for looking into the rules of the county the trial is in. She was not compassionate at all and did not listen to my concerns. She knew that I was not happy with her ...services and continued not to listen. I have no choice but to change lawyers mid-divorce because of her incomptence.

Susana Alba was a huge disappointment. Never seemed to be in the office, never got back to us in a reasonable amount of time, didn't seem to know our case very well or the law very well either. Perhaps most important though was her billing. She billed for every little thing and a lot of her time s...eemed questionable. According to her bill she spent more time talking to the custody evaluator than we did!? When she was given a bunch of discovery in electronic format she seemed not to know how to operate her laptop or search a .PDF file. This is when we became suspicious of her. She told us we had a great case and then at the last minute advised us to settle and told us we didn't have a very strong case. Huh? We settled with the feeling that she intentionally took her time and and continued to bill us so she could get the maximum amount of money out of us. A year later we hired another attorney and the difference was like night and day. The new attorney fixed several problems in Alba's settlement and things have been better since. I can not recommend this attorney for any type of work.

Responsive - NO - it took WEEKS, WEEKS to even get a call returned from her, then when she did return the call to see what was needed it took WEEKS to get her to call back. She works part time - this chick was always on vacation. Knowledgeable: NOPE... she messed up on so many things - LEGAL things ...- she filed incorrect paperwork, she didn't follow through with things. Kept me informed... not a chance, I saw her twice heck she even "forgot" to bill me for months. She is a complete incompetent, she can't handle something as precious as the custody of your child.
