Ethan A Chatov

Mr. Chatov believes his clients deserve zealous legal counsel that is diligent, prompt, and accessible. With a history of successful motion practice as a former insurance defense attorney, Mr. Chatov supports his clients’ positions with persuasive writing and insightful legal analysis, and his ability to think quickly on his feet is invaluable when arguing in court.

Mr. Chatov received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 1996 and his law degree from the Willamette University College of Law in 2006, where he served as president of his class, president of the Student Bar Association and a member of Moot Court.  In the years prior to opening his own law practice, Ethan engaged in civil litigation as an insurance defense attorney in downtown Portland, Oregon.  He is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and the Gresham Chamber of Commerce.  Chatov Law LLC has been certified a GREAT business by the City of Gresham for the efforts it takes to conserve natural resources, protect the local environment and help the bottom line.
