I would not recommend hiring this man as he fills you with hope and then you become part of a circus. He charged $30,000 to represent a single mother who had raised her daughter since birth. When she turned 4, biological dad filed for custody. He never even finished the job with a parental visitation... plan. Mom ended up with nothing and was still receiving bills from him amounting close to $75,000. A nice write-off I'm sure. Spend your money elsewhere...

I was referred to Mr. Cohen by a friend of mine. I did an online search and was very concerned about what I found. That being said, I pressed on and consulted with him. I was very impressed by our conversation and so I decided to retain him. I had a very high conflict family law case which had ...spanned almost a decade and showed no signs of getting any better. Mr. Cohen and his team are top-notch and I swear, he's practically a "walking law library". He made short work of my current issues and after a single day of trial, the other side suddenly wanted to "settle". We agreed to a settlement the following day. Sadly, the "peace" didn't last long and the other side brought about another lawsuit. Mr. Cohen represented me and a judge rendered a verdict of "not guilty". My ex and her attorney tried again a few months later and again, they lost. If I could retain Mr. Cohen for life I probably would... he and his team have allowed me to actually sleep peacefully at night knowing that they will handle any problem that is thrown my way. My only complaint (and it's a VERY small one) is that Mr. Cohen is not the most technically savvy person. That being said, his team is top-notch and they handle any and all of the tech stuff while allowing Mr. Cohen to do what he does best... practice law. He's not inexpensive... but he's worth every penny. He accomplished more than my previous attorney in about half the time. He also doesn't bill for ridiculous things such as a two-line email. He's very real and very down-to-Earth. I appreciate that about him.

I paid Mr. Cohen to represent my child in a child custody case involving severe parental alienation. Mr. Cohen's actions and words made a challenging family situation far worse with his no-holds-barred approach. He was quick to make unsubstantiated accusations, while simultaneously claiming to the co...urt that he was doing everything in his power to mend the family strife. I also was dismayed by Mr. Cohen's verbose and combative communication style, which seemed focused on generating billable hours and fomenting discord. On the positive side, it is likely that Mr. Cohen will help you win your case. It may leave your family in financial and emotional ruin, but if winning at any cost is your objective than by all means hire Mr. Cohen.
